What is PQX Pico Laser?
Pico Laser PQX is the latest model and highly powered laser developed by Fotona, one of
Europe’s leading laser companies. Among the many medical pico lasers, it is characterized
by its short pulse width (300Ph) and high output (2.7GW). With an irradiation time of
picoseconds, which is one-tenth of nanoseconds, it can approach melasma, age spots,
freckles, pigmentation, and pores without putting any strain on the skin, and delivers laser
light deep into the skin.
Each area is irradiated with a low-power pico laser to crush melanin particles within the
cells of the epidermal layer and promote skin turnover. There is almost no pain or
downtime, and it evens out uneven skin tone, leading to a one-tone brighter complexion.
Spot (spot removal)
Pico laser is used to irradiate pigmented areas such as freckles, age spots, and birthmarks
in spots, and efficiently performs pigment treatment while minimizing side effects such as
post-symptomatic hyperpigmentation. Recommended for those who want to treat
fundamental spots with one or 2 irradiation sessions.

Treatment time
Approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour
Side effects/ downtime
After the treatment, you may experience
some redness or stinging, but it subsides in
about 2 to 3 hours for most people.
This may cause temporary acne.

After spot (spot removal) irradiation, a scab
will form in about 3 to 5 days, temporarily
darken the color, and peel off in about 1 to
2 weeks. After the scab falls off, the color
will become lighter in about 3 to 6 months.
Face wash/bathing/ make-up
All of this is possible from the day of your
treatment.
Aftercare
After the treatment, your skin will be more
susceptible to UV rays and will be more
susceptible to spots. Be sure to take active
care of UV rays and keep yourself well
moisturized.
If you have had spot treatment, please
apply tape to the treated area for about a
week. (If it starts to scab, apply
sunscreen.)
Notes
＜Persons who cannot undergo treatment＞
Those with heart disease or a cardiac
pacemaker, those with a metal plate
embedded in the treatment area, those
with diabetes or a constitutional disorder in
wound healing, and the treatment area.
Those with an infectious disease, those
with or suspected of having a malignant
tumor, those with a bleeding disorder or

How many treatments do I need?
Spot (spot removal): Usually one treatment may be effective, but depending on the type of
spot, we recommend multiple treatments at intervals of 3 to 6 months.
Toning: A treatment that is effective after multiple irradiations. We recommend 5 to 10
treatments approximately every 2 weeks to 1 month. (*There are individual differences)
I am worried about the pain during the procedure.
Spot (spot removal): It feels like being hit by a rubber band.
Toning: Almost no pain, only mild irritation. (*There are individual differences)
