Botulinum toxin, a substance contained in Botox, has the effect of suppressing excessive muscle movement. Side effects/ downtime: In rare cases, swelling, pain, or internal bleeding may occur at the infusion site.

Notes: After infusion, there may be temporary swelling.
Avoid rubbing the infusion site vigorously for a few days.
Due to the risk of teratogenicity, pregnancy is not possible for 6 months after infusion. Men should use contraception for at least 3 months. Women should use contraception for 2 months.

How long does the effect last?: Facial wrinkles: Approximately 3 to 6 months Gills: 2 weeks to 2 weeks – effects gradually appear and last for a relatively long time
