  • 1Consultation and Skin Condition Assessment

    The treatment begins with a consultation where we listen carefully to the patient’s concerns and desires. The doctor will assess the degree of sagging and the condition of the skin, then propose the most suitable treatment plan. This is an important step that forms the basis for adjusting the treatment area and the depth of the ultrasound.

  • 2Removing Makeup and Preparing the Treatment Area

    Before starting the treatment, thoroughly remove all makeup and dirt from the face. Keeping the treatment area clean ensures that the ultrasound can accurately penetrate the deeper layers of the skin, maximizing its effectiveness.

  • 3Treatment with the Ulthera Prime Device

    The 4.5mm cartridge targets the fascial layer (SMAS layer), while the 3.0mm cartridge works on the fat layer. The 3.0mm cartridge can be applied not only to the cheeks and jawline but also around the eyes and forehead.
    *To alleviate pain, we use a massage gun to provide effective vibration stimulation during the treatment.

  • 4Aftercare and Precautions of Treatment

    You can return to your normal routine on the day of the treatment; however, activities that increase metabolism may exacerbate redness or swelling, so it’s recommended to avoid them for 2–3 days.
    Additionally, due to the heat from the ultrasound, the skin will be more prone to dryness and sunburn after the treatment. It is important to focus on moisturizing and taking proper sun protection measures.

There is almost no swelling after irradiation (*There are individual differences), but in very rare cases, symptoms such as redness, swelling, tenderness like bruising, temporary sensory changes (transient paralysis, etc.), and slight internal bleeding may occur. Rest assured that the redness will subside naturally within a few hours to a few days, and other symptoms will subside naturally within a few days to a few weeks.
Face wash/bathing/ make-up
All can be done immediately after the treatment.
Aftercare
There’s nothing special about it, but be sure to take active UV care and moisturize your skin to prevent wrinkles and sagging.
Notes
You can wash your face from the same day, but please avoid rubbing it too hard with cotton towels, etc. If you wish to receive phototherapy or laser treatment, please wait 2 weeks after the treatment.
